Narrabri doorknock

Across the North West, towns and communities have said “no” to coal seam gas, and “yes” to a gasfield free future. In Narrabri, a clear majority of submissions from the public opposed Santos’ proposed coal seam gasfield in the Pilliga, but a comprehensive survey has not been done.

Lots of people speak on behalf of Narrabri, but we’re doing something different: we’re going to actually ask people what they think about CSG and the future of their town. We’ll also be talking to them about the amazing opportunities for renewable energy in Narrabri, and telling them about the new report which has found 500 new jobs are available in renewable energy here.

We need 100 people from around the North West to join us door-knocking Narrabri on Sunday 24 June with a simple survey. It’s a great opportunity to spend time with others, share a BBQ lunch and tell a positive story about the future in Narrabri.

Training, support, materials and lunch will be provided.

Registration is essential. Please register here.
