The Narrabri Gas Project is about to be referred to the Independent Planning Commission (IPC) for a decision that will have profound consequences. Farming communities in North West NSW urgently need our help to make sure the Commission understands why Narrabri Gas is the most protested major development in the history of our planning system (98.7% of people in shires surrounding Narrabri oppose the development). The Knitting Nannas and North West Protection Advocacy will host a Narrabri Gas submission-writing and community action workshop. The 1.5 hour session will explain why it makes no sense to develop this risky gas project, what’s at stake, and allows time for workshop participants to write a submission to the IPC. We’ll also update you on upcoming Narrabri campaign events.
