The approval of the Narrabri coal seam gas project could open the floodgates for Santos’ plans for coal seam gasfields across Northwest NSW.
Surrounding the Pilliga are eleven other expired gas exploration licences. They cover over 56,000 square kilometres of land. Coal seam gas companies are itching to start CSG activity on these expired gas licences. We need our elected representatives in Government to stop them. They need to hear from us right now.
National Party members voted to have these CSG licences extinguished last year, yet the NSW Government failed to act.
Your voice is needed to stop coal seam gasfields blanketing Northwest NSW.
Will you call the Deputy Premier and ask for the licences to be extinguished?
